The images on this page feature photographs taken with Daniels Real Estate on recreational trips to Tivoli, Cinque Terre, and Pisa, as well as side trips within Rome.
Piazza Novona, Rome
One of the most beautiful piazzas in Rome. The Neptune fountain is a marvel to see and wonder to photograph.
Chiesa St. Ignacio, Rome and Chiesa Jesu, Rome
These are two of my favorite churches in Rome because of their jaw-dropping ceiling frescoes that defy gravity with the artist's use of perspective. Both frescoes are painted on flat ceilings - with no dome. Quite impressive.
The medieval city of Tivoli is where we had a company lunch. It isn't everywhere you find a lunch at a place whose courtyard contains a Roman temple from 150 B.C.!
Monterosso, Cinque Terre
We took a train to Cinque Terre and landed in the village of Monterosso. Then two of us took the WRONG train to the next village and we ended up all the way back in Pisa! So this is my short taste of Cinque Terre. But I did get to see Pisa so it wasn't a total loss!
I suppose what the world does not need is more photos of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but I really wanted to have the opportunity to visit this world famous structure. I chose to focus on the details of the tower and then explore the Pisa Cathedral for more photos. It is a beautiful complete of ageless architecture and fond memories.
The Mandala Project
Mandalas have been used for centuries by cultures all over the world as a form of meditation and spiritual connection. Images such as these are endlessly fascinating to create. These are some of my own mandalas taken from my photographs of various locations within Rome.
